For alterations of reservations or any other invoiced item an administrative charge of 100 NIS will be charged. Alternative participants are readily accepted for an administrative fee of 100 NIS.

Refund of payments made towards registration will be refunded if written notification reaches the Symposium Secretariat, Ortra Ltd. ssiem2023@ortra.com as follows:

Cancellation received within 14 days from the date of registration (unless registration was made during the 7 days prior to the Symposium) – Full refund, excluding 100 NIS handling fees.

If cancellation received 15 days or more from the date of registration refund will be made as follows:

• Until June 26, 2023 – Full refund with deduction of 30 $US handling fee
• From June 27, 2023 – 50% refund
• From July 27, 2023 – No refund.

Please note:

The fee for symposium participation will not be refunded, even in case of non-participation, if a cancellation is not received in time. A refused visa application is no reason for refund.

In any case, no reimbursement will be made in case of cancellation of a social programme from a participant.

Social Event Cancellations

The event or single components (e.g. social programme) can only be carried out if a certain minimum number of participants is reached. If this is not the case Ortra Ltd. reserves the right to cancel the event or single components at short notice. In such a case the already paid fee will be reimbursed completely.

Force Majeure, Disclaimer

In case the event cannot be organised or is subject to change due to reasons which are outside of the sphere of responsibility of Ortra Ltd. (e.g. natural catastrophe, strike, pandemic or force majeure), no claim for refund of the (proportionate) registration fees or for a compensation of any (financial) losses can be made. In the event of cancellation, Ortra or SSIEM have no obligation to meet the costs of any pre-booked accommodation or travel and it is recommended you take out appropriate insurance cover.
